This is a more cost-effective option and often results in less tooth sensitivity as it uses a lower concentration gel over 1 to 2 weeks to whiten more gradually. While in-chair whitening offers instant results, using high-concentration gel and LED activation, the results may rebound quickly. This means in-chair whitening patients typically need to purchase an additional custom take-home whitening kit to maintain their white smile.
